Andy and I have discovered that there is a flea market at Nashville's fair grounds the last weekend of every month.







Of course this is all we came home with today :) (although we did almost buy a pink collapsible cage for Turk dog :)



After the flea market we got some lunch at the newly renovated Opry Mills Mall (its been out of commission for 2 years due to a flood and has just re-opened a few months ago).


We planned to have lunch at Chuy's Mexican Restaurant but the restaurant was PACKED. The wait was over an hour on a Sunday afternoon! We really couldn't believe HOW busy the mall was. We ended up eating in the food court but it worked out well, we got pizza by the slice and reminisced about when we were younger and places that served pizza by the slice :) hahaha

The key reason we ate at the mall was because one of the best theaters in Nashville is connected to the mall and we wanted to see The Dark Knight Rises.


After the movie we went downtown and met some friends, Jason and Diana, to have dinner at The Southern Steak and Oyster.


The Southern is a great restaurant but definitely a tough place for someone allergic to most seafood :) We thought I'd be safe because they had a fair amount of steak on their menu along with the seafood. Unfortunately their grill was out and they were for the most part only serving the seafood side of their menu! I made due though and still loved trying a new place :)
