Andy had today off and my Fridays are typically pretty slow and easy, so we started the day taking my car into the shop. We had to pass one of the best coffee shops in Clarksville - Lasaters, on the way to the dealership. Lasater's has the MOST AMAZING CHAI LATTE!!! BUT they are changing their mixture and Andy and I are devastated :( HOWEVER, the location we stopped at this morning (there's 3 locations) still had some of their old chai mix left!! So of course we both had to get one :)
It really is sad how much me and Andy love, and will miss, this chai :)
Whenever Andy is off work we always have lunch together. Today we ate at Silke's. Silke's is run by a German family and has homemade soups that are to die for!! Andy got his usual - clam chowder in a bread bowl. I branched out and tried their spinach/artichoke soup that tasted like spinach artichoke dip in soup form! Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
Oh and they also have great bread!!
I wish I could say we ate at some cool, local place for our Friday night but we totally ended up at the Olive Garden :)
BUT we saw a gorgeous sunset on the way home :)
When we got home we tried to watch Casino Royale. Believe it or not this is the FIRST James Bond movie I've seen! We made it through about half of it before we passed out :)
